College Students Should Apply Now for Summer Jobs

Deadline for summer employment Applications is February 11

The deadline for college students to apply for summer positions with PENNDOT and DEP (Pymatuning State Park) is rapidly approaching, according to Senator Bob Robbins (R-50).

Resumes and personal data sheets must be filed with Senator Robbins’ Greenville or Meadville Offices no later than Monday, February 11, in order for Senator Robbins to meet the Governor’s deadline .

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in college for the fall semester of 2008. The positions are full-time and will pay $10.99 per hour until July 1, when the pay will increase to $11.32 per hour.

"This is a great opportunity to work for the summer at a good job with good pay," Senator Robbins said. "I strongly urge local students to send me their resumes as soon as possible."
